Q: What is a Wolfhaven Money Tree?
A: A Wolfhaven Money Tree grows Wolfhaven Dollars and different types of fruit that can be picked by new users.

Q: What do I get for picking the Wolfhaven dollars and fruit?
A: The Wolfhaven Dollars are worth L$1.00 and the fruit values vary depending on who owns the tree and what they've configured it for. When you left click these items on the tree, if you are a new user, you will be paid. If you are too old, you will get a message telling you so, and what the upper age limit is on the tree.

Q: How old can I be?
A: Depending on how the tree owner has configured their tree, you can be anywhere up to 60 days old. To find out the max days setting for a tree, click the *CLICK HERE for INFO* column on the tree.

Q: Ok so where do I find Wolfhaven Money Trees?
A: Wolfhaven Money trees (as well as other brands and types of money trees) can be found all over Second Life in many different places. A Master Money Tree List is located at the Wolfhaven Productions Money Tree HQ in Silla.

Q: I found the Wolfhaven Money Tree HQ, how do I see the Master Money Tree List?
A: There are actually two lists you can look at. One is the Golden Apple™ Donations board which is at the HQ, and the other is a website. The Golden Apple™ Donations board will show you the ten most recent trees that have been donated to that are in the Golden Apple™ program, and there are buttons to the left of each listing that will teleport you directly to these trees. The Master Wolfhaven Money Tree List is located on our Website and there is a sign at the HQ you can click on to go there in your favorite web browser.

Q: So how do the Wolfhaven Money Trees work?
A: Every 10-30 minutes (depending on how the tree owner has configured their tree) the Wolfhaven Money Tree grows new Wolfhaven Dollars and sometimes fruit. Look up in the tree and click on any Wolfhaven Dollars or fruit you see. There are four types of fruit a tree can grow besides the Wolfhaven Dollars. They are: Apple, Bananas, Oranges, and Golden Apples. The value of the fruit can vary depending on the settings the owner of the tree has made, but the Golden Apple™ is a special prize, and has a potential to be worth much more than the other fruit. Q: So where does the money in a Wolfhaven Money Tree come from?
A: Wolfhaven Money Trees are TOTALLY donation driven. The owner of the tree, or any passerby can add money to a Wolfhaven Money Tree.

Q: Who made the Wolfhaven Money Tree?
A: Traven Sachs created the first Wolfhaven Money Tree v1.0 in 2005. There were other money trees in Second Life at that time, but they had conceptual differences and worked slightly differently.

Q: So whats the big difference between different brands of 'Money Trees'?
A: Some money trees will take L$ from their owners at a set rate in a predefined time period, and that may not be desirable to some. Some money trees use a great many more scripts to operate and might possibly generate a larger amount of lag as well. There are more potential differences that are too numerous to mention here. The biggest difference between Wolfhaven Money Trees and others is that Wolfhaven Money Trees are TOTALLY donation driven. The Owner of the tree has complete control over the funds taken in, and the values of the fruits that the tree may grow.

Q: How much can I get from a Wolfhaven Money Tree?
A: That is entirely up to the tree owner. There are two settings the tree owner can adjust when configuring their tree: MAX L$ and NO-REPEATS. The Max L$ can be from L$10 upward, and the NO-REPEATS can be up to 50 avatars. What this means is you may have to wait for as many as 50 other Avatars to pick from a specific tree before you may do so again, but when you are allowed to pick you can at least get L$10 from the tree if it has fruit and Wolfhaven Dollars on it to cover that amount. Q: Why do people have Wolfhaven Money Trees?
A: There are two VERY GOOD reasons for this. 1) To help new users to Second Life, and 2) To attract new people to their location. Giving L$ to new users gives them reason to continue to participate in Second Life, and helps to strengthen the SL Economy.

Q: I'm under the age limit for a Wolfhaven Money Tree but I still can't pick the fruit, why?
A: There are three types of accounts in Second Life. Freebie accounts with no payment info, an account with payment info on file thats never been used, and an account with payment info on file that HAS been used. The owner of the tree can block certain types of accounts from picking from the Wolfhaven Money Tree. You can, of course, upgrade your account in order to get past these limits.

Q: How can I donate to a Wolfhaven Money Tree?
A: Right click the base of the tree and select PAY from the pie menu. Then type in an L$ amount you wish to donate.

Q: Where can I get my own Wolfhaven Money Tree?
A: Wolfhaven Productions Money Tree HQ located in Silla has a vendor available that sells the Wolfhaven Money Trees for L$1. You may also find them on SLExchange.com.

Q: Is there any benefit to buying lists of Money Trees?
A: NO. Don't ever buy these lists. You can view the Master Money Tree List located at the Wolfhaven Productions Money Tree HQ in Silla. This list is updated daily for your convenience. Old or inactive trees are removed automatically. Caveat Emptor!
